China Motorized ball valves also named TOFINE Electric actuated ball valves, 
Fail-safe also named Capacitor-close,Fail-close, Capacitor-return,Normally closed(NC), Normally open(NO), Capacitor-return, Auto-return or Spring-return,etc,
The valve can automatically return to open or close by the way of built-in capacitor instead of Spring,Capacitor return is more reliable,it can avoid the problem of Spring disengaged or not operated during operation,
Fox example: Fail-close: Valve closes on the loss of power and remains close position until power is energized.

TOFINE Auto-return valves can automatically return to its original when de-engergised,This actuator is designed so that if power is interrupted to the actuator in the mid-operation,the capacitor will power the valve closed and the valve will not hang-up in the partly open position. The capacitor is quick charging and will fully charge the first time power is applied to the actuator, The compact design works in the same way as solenoid valves,can be the best alternative to the solenoid valves.

Advantage: Without the need for the costly and bulky spring return as traditional actuator used,Open/close time is approx 3-5 seconds,can take full pressure in either direction,no water hammer,can be the best economic alternative to solenoid valves,especially when the solenoid valves can not work reliably.

Valve status: The original position could be closed or open ,that is,when power is removed,the valve can be automatically closed or open, 
Two types as below you can choose from, the "Normally" state refers to its position when the actuator is not energized.
*  Normally closed valve (The original state is fully closed,the valve will fully open when power on,and the valve will auto-return fully closed when power off), That is, Normally closed on Power loss.
*  Normally open valve   (The original state is fully open,the valve will fully closed when power on,and the valve will auto-return fully open when power off), That is, Normally open when Power loss.

TOFINE-THA20T: Normally closed also named  Fail safe close position/ auto close on power fail / Voltage open, no power close/
TOFINE-THA20T: Normally open also named  Fail safe open position/ auto open on power fail  /  Voltage close,no power open/

Please kindly confirm which type you want,normally closed or normally open?
If no specifying,we will provide normally closed valves in 2-wire,it is motor-driven open by voltage and motor-driven closed by way of a built-in capacitor,and it only requires 2 wires to power it,that is to say,In case power is cut off,the valve has enough power in the capacitor to close,(the valve with 2-wire will auto close if no voltage is applied and be open as long as there is a voltage)

There are 3 types of wiring control as below: 2-wire,3-wire or 5-wire,see below details.

* Wiring:  There are 3 types of wiring control available for Normally closed or open valves ,2-wire,3-wire or 5-wire, The price of  3-wire and 5-wire is a little higher than 2-wire,
Please kindly confirm which wiring we will provide you,2-wire,3-wire or 5-wire? thanks,
Notes: 2-wire and 5-wire wiring,to guarantee valve have enough power to open/close completely,please kindly keep power on approx 60 seconds for each operation in order to charge the built-in capacitor fully.  
             3-wire wiring no need to charge in advance. 

1) 2-wire CR2 02, 
Suitable Working voltage:   AC/DC9-24V,AC110-230V,AC/DC7-35V,
Charging time: To guarantee the valve best working performance,please kindly charge the actuator approx 60 seconds for the valve size 1/4"-1" and charge the actuator approx 120 seconds for the valve size 1-1/4" to 2", 
Additional function:  The voltage lies from 7V to 35V can be with manual override and visual indicator,110-230V can not be with manual override but can be with visual indicator.

2) 3-wire CR3 05,
Suitable Working voltage: AC110-230V,  no need to charge the actuator,ideal for short&quick open or close application.
Additional function: AC110-230V can not be with manual override but can be with visual indicator.

*Please kindly note that above CR3 05 wiring is for Normally closed type, if you need Normally open type it should be changed into ,SW CLOSED,the valve close, SW OPEN,the valve open,

3) 5-wire CR5 02 with signal feedback,
Suitable Working voltage: AC/DC9-24V,AC110-230V,AC/DC7-35V,
Charging time: To guarantee the best working performance,please charge the actuator approx 60 seconds for the valve size 1/4" to 1" and approx 120 seconds for 1-1/4" to 2".
Additional function: The voltage lies from 7V to 35V can be with manual override and visual indicator ,110-230V can not be with manual override but can be with visual indicator.

Normally Open valve is one that is open until the actuator is energized to close it.if power to the actuator fails,the valve opens.

Normally Closed valve is one that is close until the actuator is engergized to open it,if power to the actuator fails,the valve closes.

It will solve the problem that if a valve is actuated to open and then actuated to close,it will fail in whichever position it is when the actuator is de-engerized.
